I'm giving folks an opportunity if they have characters who have ties to the 'big city' via relatives or family (including fosterage) whether immediate or distant to have them show up somewhere. It could be with a present character, or possibly even an older character from earlier times when the gate first opened. As it is, I'm filling a lot of the place out with NPCs who are from the first generation, or descendants of of children born in Isalea.
If I can find a way to fit them in somewhere, I will. It won't afford you the benefit of free stuff, etc. but you will still have a mob/shopkeeper somewhere in the city that your char 'knows' which will give you RP opportunities, as well as possible plot hooks in quests/encounters from our end!
If you'd like to see 'someone you know' in the city, please send me a note in game with information about the person(s) in question, including race/tribe/clan, full name, age (approx is ok), any other close kin/associations they have, and what their occupation etc. is, what they look like and so forth. The more information you can give me, the better!
